The Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a key notification for private schools regarding their BISE affiliation and renewal requirements for the 2025-2026 academic session.

According to the letter issued on June 18, 2025, all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in KP (including Peshawar, Abbottabad, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Kohat, Malakand, Mardan, and Swat) are advised to grant BISE affiliation or renewal only to those private schools which possess a valid PSRA registration for the academic year 2024-2025.
